We have a 4-bedroomed, open-plan barn conversion; a 1- or 2-bedded grade II listed conversion for two; 4 large bell tents for glamping; DIY livery; a working pottery/artists’ studio and photographic gallery in a wonderful rural setting.
The Barn
Leys at Valley View HQ offers luxurious self-catering accommodation for up to 8 people: 4 bedrooms, 4 bath/shower rooms and light, airy open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas.
The Barn offers all modern comforts and provides an excellent base for exploring the beautiful Devon countryside, Lyme Regis and the stunning Jurassic coastline.
The Annexe
The Annexe is a Grade II listed conversion and is perfect for two, with a characterful beamed combined living/dining/bedroom area with wood-burning stove, and a separate kitchen and bathroom.
A patio area in front of the property, sheltered by a stunning Magnolia, is the perfect position in which to enjoy an alfresco meal and the peace and tranquillity of the garden.
Glamping
We are now offering a glamping option for Valley View HQ guests. We have two 5-metre (‘Mole’ and ‘Badger’) and two 4-metre bell tents (‘Rabbit’ and ‘Stoat’) set up in a beautiful part of the Valley View site next to the orchard, and within easy reach of the car park.
Facilities include two shower/loo pods and two kitchen sheds shared between tents.
The Pot Place
The Pot Place was originally set up by Frances Hillier, and is now run by Hannah Bowden.
While you are staying at Leys or in the Annexe, or if you live locally, you might be interested to visit the pottery studio for a workshop session, suitable for any age and complete beginners.
A place to enjoy nature and be inspired to be creative.
